In a recent environmental initiative, MBS International School organized a successful Tree Plantation Drive at Indraprastha Park, Sagarpur. As part of our Green Initiative, launched by the Chairman earlier this year, this event was designed to instil environmental consciousness in students and contribute to a greener future. Although the esteemed Chief Guest, Ms. Kamaljeet Sehrawat, couldn’t attend, her support in arranging the venue ensured the event's success.
The students eagerly planted approximately 1,100 plants, including trees and shrubs, with 600 of these planted in Indraprastha Park. This effort not only emphasized the importance of environmental conservation but also reflected the school's commitment to promoting sustainable practices for future generations.
On September 4, 2024, 14 boys from Classes IX and X visited Godhuli Old Age Home in Dwarka as part of the Good Samaritan Club's outreach program. The visit aimed to teach empathy, compassion, and respect for the elderly. The students spent time interacting with the residents, organizing activities, and distributing handmade gifts. This meaningful experience fostered a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by senior citizens and the importance of care for the elderly.
On the same day, 14 girls from Classes XI and XII visited NGO Sijo Social Vision in Najafgarh. The students engaged with disabled children through games, talent showcases, and creative activities, promoting empathy and leadership skills. This visit not only helped the children boost their confidence and self-expression but also shaped the students’ sense of social responsibility and community involvement.
Through these initiatives, MBS International School continues to inspire its students to be active contributors to society, nurturing a generation of socially and environmentally responsible citizens.
