The Pre Primary students of MBS International School celebrated Guru Nanak Jayanti on Wednesday, 13 November 2024 with great enthusiasm and joy. The event aimed to introduce young children to the teachings and values of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism, in a way that was both engaging and age-appropriate.

The Ambience was beautifully decorated with flowers, posters, and symbols representing peace and harmony, setting a festive and respectful atmosphere.

The celebration began with a short prayer and a brief introduction to Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s life by the teachers, helping the children understand his contributions and teachings on kindness, honesty, and equality. Teachers narrated simple stories from Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s life, sharing lessons on compassion and service. The stories were shared in an interactive way to keep the young audience engaged and attentive.

The children participated in singing Shabads (Sikh hymns). Some students dressed up in traditional attire and performed a small dance, bringing joy and excitement to the day.

The Guru Nanak Jayanti celebration was not only an event but a learning experience that helped instill moral values in our little MBSians, leaving a lasting impact on their young minds.

    On 8 November 2024, MBS International School conducted a ‘Drag the Ball Race’ for Class II students to encourage teamwork, physical fitness and competitive spirit among them. The event took place on the school playground, and allowing students to engage in a fun and collaborative activity that required agility and coordination. The objective was to move with a ball held between the knees from a starting point to a designated finish line, without dropping the ball. The students displayed impressive teamwork, and strategising effectively to move the ball efficiently.The activity created a lively and energetic environment with enthusiastic participation from all.

     The “Drag the Ball “Race was a successful event that helped build camaraderie and fostered physical fitness among the students.

      On Tuesday, 12 November 2024, MBS International School Dwarka organised a special ‘Children’s Day Hand Printing’ activity for the students of Class I. This engaging activity aimed to foster self-awareness among young learners.

      During the activity, each student dipped their hands in vibrant poster paints to create colourful handprints on A4 sheets. Following this creative expression, the students wrote down one special quality or trait they believe they possess, such as 'kind,' 'brave,' or 'curious.' This exercise encouraged them to reflect on their strengths and articulate their unique identities through both art and words.

      The children thoroughly enjoyed the process, embracing the opportunity to explore their creativity while celebrating their individuality. This hands-on activity not only allowed them to express themselves but also helped cultivate a sense of pride and confidence in their unique qualities.

        On Tuesday, 5 November 2024, MBS International School has organised a lively 'Ad Mad Show' activity for the students of  Class I, where young learners transformed into energetic little advertisers! With boundless creativity, each student presented advertisements for a variety of products, from delicious chocolates and fun toys to refreshing juices and stationery, all while showcasing catchy slogans.

        The activity allowed students to hone their communication and public speaking skills in a playful and engaging setting. It was a day filled with excitement, laughter, and valuable learning experiences.

          An Enactment of a scientist competition was organised for the students of Class IX  by the Eureka Club at MBS International School, Dwarka, New Delhi on 6 November 2024 in the school premises, with a motive to create interest and awareness about scientific discoveries .

          Students showcased their knowledge and critical thinking skills through a variety of hands-on experiments, allowing them to explore the principles of scientific inquiry. Each participant presented not only their experiments but also the underlying concepts and historical context of the discoveries they were highlighting.

          This platform not only encouraged students to delve deeper into scientific research but also helped them appreciate the impact of scientific advancements on our daily lives. The competition proved to be an enriching experience, inspiring a new generation of young scientists.

              The Eureka Club at MBS International School organised a quiz competition for Class XI students on Wednesday, 6 November 2024, to deepen their understanding of scientific concepts and their applications. This event aimed to inspire students to explore various scientific principles and enhance their analytical and reasoning skills.

              The quiz consisted of two main rounds: the Preliminary Round and the Final Stage Round.

              The Science Quiz was a successful event. It was an enriching experience that motivated young minds to appreciate the importance of scientific inquiry and its applications in everyday life. The event highlighted the students' ability to critically evaluate information and their enthusiasm for exploring the wonders of science.

                On 6 November 2024, the Eureka Club of MBS International School organised an exciting Inter-Class 'Budding Scientist` Competition for students of Classes III-V. The event aimed to ignite, curiosity, and deepen students' understanding of scientific concepts through hands-on experiments. Students enthusiastically showcased a wide range of experiments across various scientific disciplines, demonstrating not only their creativity but also their ability to simplify and communicate complex scientific principles in an engaging manner.

                The competition proved to be a highly effective platform for experiential learning, making science more accessible and enjoyable for the participants. It provided students with an opportunity to explore scientific concepts actively while also improving their academic skills and fostering personal growth. In addition to enhancing their knowledge, the event boosted students' confidence in public speaking and presentation, allowing them to articulate their ideas clearly and effectively. The competition left all participants with a deeper appreciation for the wonders of science and its real-world applications.
