    INTER SCHOOL BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT-FINALS
    Basketball Tournament - Finals
    Life is just like a game. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose.
    "Today was more than a closing ceremony of 2nd Inter School Basketball Tournament , it was a Victory celebration."
    The 2nd Inter School Basketball Tournament concluded on October 25, 2017 at the Basketball Court of MBS International School, Dwarka.
    The schools that had been selected for Semi-Final round were MBS International School, Dwarka , St. Mary?s School, Dwarka , JM International school, Dwarka , Vandana International School, Dwarka. All the participants displayed a great amount of vigor and participated with zealous attitude. The speed of movement, anticipation, timing, communication and teamwork were applauded by all.
    MBS International School and Vandana International School qualified for the basketball finals. The finale was really tough and, with just a few points difference , Vandana International School secured first position and won the trophy.
    It entailed the Prize Distribution Ceremony, where Our Honourable Principal Sir Mr. Atul Wadhawan gave away medals, certificates and trophy to winning teams. It was a momentous day for all the participants as the event ended with a note of appreciation, encouragement and blessings by the School Principal.
    Congratulations to all the teams for a brilliant game with good team spirit!

      Important Announcement
      Dear Parent,
      26th October 2017 has been declared holiday on account of Chhath Pooja. Classes will resume on 27th October 2017.
      The retest which was scheduled to be conducted on 26th October 2017 has been rescheduled to 1st November 2017.

        INTER SCHOOL BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT

        ?Talent wins games but teamwork intelligence can alone win championships? ? Michael Jordon

        The 2nd Inter School Basketball Tournament commenced on October 24, 2017 at the Basketball Court of MBS International School, Dwarka. Different schools of Dwarka participated in the event which took place from 10:00 a.m. ? 1:00 p.m.

        The event was declared open with lighting of lamp by our honourable  Principal Sir Mr. Atul Wadhawan. He addressed all the participants and inspired them to show their talent and sportsmanship. He also inspired them to look at sports as a field of career. The event was judged by an eminent panel.

        The schools including host school that participated are as follow:

          -   MBS International School, Dwarka

          -   St. Mary?s School, Dwarka

          -   JM International school, Dwarka

          -   Basawa International School, Dwarka

          -   Vandana International School, Dwarka

          -   MRV Model School, Dwarka

          -   RD Rajpal Public School, Dwarka ? etc

        All the participants displayed a great amount of vigor and participated with zealous attitude.

        The schools that have been selected for Semi-Final round are as follow:

        Overall, it went well. The students learnt an important lesson of life that it is the participation and hard work that matters the most , Victory follows.

          MBSian Skill Bazaar -2017
          Budding artists unleashing their imagination

          On 14th October, 2017 MBS International School, Sector ? 11, Dwarka organized a mega event : ?SKILL BAZAAR? in the school premises to recognize the talent, creativity and ingenuity of the MBSians to mark the festive season.
          The highlights of the day were PTM for grade nursery to XII, career counselling for grade X and XII and Cultural Fiesta, where students of primary classes show cased their talent in the form of folk dances(Gujrati, Rajasthani and Punjabi), Nukad Natika which highlighted the plight of the Indian farmers over the years and musical symphony by the school orchestra.
          Stalls of Gel Candles, painted diyas, pots, decorative items and tie and dye dupattas were also set up to let people go on a little shopping spree. There were various fun games and activities ( Break the Pyramid, Coin in the bucket, Puzzles, Rides and Bouncy ) which attracted the attention of students and their parents. Eatables of all sorts were also a part of the Skill Bazaar and were relished by one and all.

            MBS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL - MBSians have done it again!!!!

            MBS proudly announces the victory of our students Chukkala Dinesh (X) and Nikhil Chaudhary (XI) who appeared in the Pre Regional Mathematics Olympiad 2017 and have emerged as winners.

              PTM CIRCULAR 14th OCTOBER 2017
              Dear Parents

              MBS International School takes the privilege to invite all the parents on a mega event ?Skill Bazaar-2017? on 14th October to recognize the talent, creativity and ingenuity of the MBSains to mark the festive season.

              The highlights of the day are:

                 ·  Skill Bazaar                                                           Timings: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

                 ·  Career counseling for grades X and XII          Timings:  9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

                 ·  PTM: Grade Pre Primary to XII 

                    Timings:  Pre Primary to IX & XI - 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

                    X and XII - 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

                 ·  Cultural Fiesta

                    Teachers will not be available in the classrooms for the PTM after the above mentioned timings.

                    Kindly adhere to the time slots given in the almanac.

                Workshop conducted by police
                MBS International School is committed to create a safe and protective environment for the students during their time in the school as well as when being transported to and fro from the School. Besides various remedial measures that has been undertaken in this regard to meet the growing concern regarding the safety of school children, MBS international School invited Delhi Police to conduct a workshop on 28 Sep 17 for Drivers, Helpers, Housekeeping and Security staff. The workshop was conducted by a team of Delhi police led by ASI Bheem Singh. The workshop sensitized the support staff to this serious issue and guided them to various proactive remedial measures to ensure safe transport and stay of children in the School. The School is working with proactive intensity with the Delhi Police for safety and security of children and the workshop is one of the series of steps that the School has undertaken to ensure this aspect.
